Knowledge Quest has extensive experience designing and
developing award-winning Web-based software training. We have been
creating self-paced courseware for over 14 years, which has been used by
over 1 million people at thousands of companies around the world.
Applying audio to your lessons is simply a matter of
recording the audio, and then using the Audio wizard to apply audio to
each step of the lesson. Recording audio can be accomplished in a number
of ways. You can record the audio yourself on your computer using a
microphone and readily available software, or you can hire a recording
studio to record the audio for you.
Expert Author is a versatile authoring tool. You can use
it to create lessons containing simple resources, like screen shots,
text fields, buttons, hit areas, etc. You can also use it to create
lessons using interactive components, like "live" menus, toolbars, and
interactive document objects. Although there is nothing wrong with
creating courseware using simple resources, as you become more familiar
with the flexibility, smaller file sizes, and more robust software
simulation, you will want to use interactive components as much as
possible.
Knowledge Quest and its partners are available to assist
you in creating custom templates that utilize interactive components.
